When Christ was in heaven preparing to come to earth, He cast a long shadow of prophecies, sacrifices and temple rituals that all pointed to Jesus.
Old Testament believers who trusted in these shadows were credited with trusting in Christ to whom they pointed.
For 1200 years, until the coming of Christ, one of God’s primary ways to communicate was through the temple sacrifices and ceremonies.
Sin consciousness casts a shadow over our souls that makes us draw back from God and doubt His acceptance and love and makes us feel disqualified from His favor and blessings.

Dead works are our human efforts that don’t lead to life and can’t save us, deliver us or give us peace.
Christians backslide and fall into sin because they aren’t experiencing the goodness of God. Instead of facing Him with open arms, they shrink back in shame.
Your conscience is a spiritual window into your soul that allows heavens light in.
We must be solidly rooted in and continually wash our hearts in God’s Truth to remain free.
