- they have fallen away
- it is impossible for them to be brought back to repentance
- their loss... because they:
-- are crucifying the Son of God all over again
-- subjecting Jesus to public disgrace
- tasted the heavenly gift
- shared in the Holy Spirit
- tasted the goodness of the word of God
- and the powers of the coming age
BUT...
- they have fallen away
- it is impossible for them to be brought back to repentance
- their loss... because they:
-- are crucifying the Son of God all over again
-- subjecting Jesus to public disgrace
What if the rocky soil and the thorns are similar to the soil described in Hebrews?
What if those who have tasted and seen, experienced the gifts of the Spirit... might still choose to walk away?
Why else these warnings to believers?
