Loved of the Father:
1 John 3:1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. NASB
Ephesians 1: 4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. NLT
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. AMP
1. God chose you because of His love and grace:
John 15:16, “You did not choose me, but I chose you”
2. You’re a chosen race
Revelation 1:5. To Him who [b]loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us [c]kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

5. Citizens in the Kingdom of God
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the [p]saints, and members of the household of God. ESV
2 Thess 2:13 But we are [a]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through [b]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. NKJV

Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the [p]saints, and are of God’s household NASB
Why?
