The early church was known for its “konona” fellowship. Their meaningful relationships were experienced in two dimensions.

First was fellowship with Christ. 1Cor. 1:9
The second was fellowship with one another. Acts 2:42
From the launch of the church to day, koinonia has been our characteristic trademark.
Our “koinonia” with one another is expressed in five ways.
1. Koinonia – inspires our unity
2. Koinonia authenticates our witness
Preach the Gospel and if necessary use words. - St. Francis of Assisi
3. Koinonia empowers our efforts
There’s no way you can be all God wants you to be, do all God wants you to do, fulfill the purposes that you were put on this planet to fulfill by yourself. You have to do it in relationship to other people.
4. Koinonia shares our resources
If the gospel that does not deal with the issues of the day is not the gospel at all. – Martin Luther

Where does the model of generosity practiced by the early church originate?
After Moses lead the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt his job was to teach the people how to run their nation.
Koionia is love that shares generously and wisely.
5. Koionia forgives our brother/sister
