Music Opportunities- Bell Choir and Small Group Singing

We have exciting news to share at LaPorte United Methodist Church! Our general choir is making a comeback, being led by our organist. Practices are Sunday mornings at 10:15am before the worship service. Anyone is welcome to come and lift their voice to the Lord!
Additionally, we are forming a bell choir! We have a director who is willing to lead this ministry. Please let the church office know soon if you wish to participate as practices will begin soon.

Grief Share

We will begin a new ministry for people who have lost loved ones. This is open to anyone in the church or community. Please sign up if you are interested in attending. A start date will be announced soon.

Winter Book Study - The Screwtape Letters

A new book study will begin on Wednesday, January 18. We will be reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, which Pastor will be leading. It is a Christian apologetic novel dedicated to J. R. R. Tolkien. It is written in a satirical, epistolary style and while it is fictional in format, the plot and characters are used to address Christian theological issues, primarily those to do with temptation and resistance to it. If you are interested, please sign-up at the table. There will be a morning and evening study.

Watch the Service on YouTube!

The livestream will begin at 10:55am.
