Marriage is God’s idea, and it is holy. The context for all loving, intimate, sexual relationships between one man and one woman is marriage. Marriage is the goal that should be pursued, not avoided; intimacy is intended to progress.
God commands us to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. He is teaching us how to honor, empower, and connect to one another on a spiritual, life-giving level.
Men and women have been hardwired, by God, with a core value that reveals our deepest need.
Everyone needs love and respect. Love unlocks a woman’s soul allowing her to be the best version of herself, just as respect unlocks a man’s soul allowing him to be the best version of himself.
God, in His wisdom created a supernatural dependency that requires humility and sacrifice for relationships to thrive. He asks us to give what does not come naturally, because He wants us to live supernatural lives.
