A. WHEN is He Removed?

There are some who belong to the school of thought known as AMMILLENNIALISM, meaning no millennial reign.

This group does not take Revelation 20 literally. They do not believe in any sort of a literal 1,000-year reign upon this earth. They believe that the Devil has already been CHAINED.

There’s another school of thought known as POST MILLENNIALISM. They believe that the world through the preaching of the gospel & the witness of Christ is going to get better and better and better until we enter into a practical utopian state and then Jesus will come.

Their theology demands that the WORLD is going to get better and not worse.

Charles Spurgeon wisely said, "Apart from the 2 Coming of Christ, the world is more likely to sink into a pandemonium than to rise to a millennium."

There’s one other school of thought known as pre-millennialism. This is the teaching that I personally believe. This teaching says that Jesus must come 1 BEFORE the millennium can be USHERED in.

The Lord’s coming is going to establish a 1,000-year Kingdom of peace, prosperity and perfection. Jesus will be a literal king, ruling over a literal kingdom, filled with literal subjects on a literal earth.

We’re also given the destination of Satan’s removal. It’s the bottomless pit. This bottomless pit is not the LAKE of fire. It’s not HELL. And contrary to popular opinion, Satan is NOT the Lord of hell. Jesus is the Lord of hell.

During the 1,000-year reign of Jesus on the earth, Satan is cast into the bottomless pit. Literally the word there is the ABYSS (endless space).

This world will never have PEACE as long as Satan is loose. This is why Satan is removed.

Who is going to reign over this 1,000-year Kingdom? Our SAVIOR is going to be the King, but under Him will be SAINTS who rule and reign with Him.

When Jesus returns, He will REMOVE the Devil and his DEMONS. Then He’s going to REMOVE all of those wicked RULERS who followed the Antichrist during the great tribulation.

Then He is going to enthrone another group. That is, all of the saints of all of the AGES who have LOVED our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Most everyone knows about physical death which is the separation of the SOUL from the BODY. But the second death, which is spiritual death, is the separation of the SOUL from GOD.
