Friday, January 27 | 12pm | Our Nazarene mission hospital in Papua New Guinea uses bandages made out of old sheets for many things, "kind of a duct tape" they say. Join us for our part of the process. We take old donated sheets and tear and roll them into tight rolls. They are then sent to Oregon and then to Papua New Guinea where they are sterilized and used.
Youth Pie Auction and Dinner
Sunday, January 29 | 11:15am | The moment you’ve all been waiting for… Pie Auction 2023! This year’s don’t-miss event will be immediately following the morning service and includes a free spaghetti lunch. Bring a pie to donate, if you want, some money to buy a pie, if you want, and some wandering eyes to mooch off someone else's pie, if you want. This fundraiser is for funds to offset student activities.
Faith Promise
February 18 & 19 | Stephen Sickel will be joining us to talk about his time in missions and the impact of Faith Promise. Faith Promise gifts are gifts given systematically for global missions throughout the year. They are a promise between the individual and God. Giving through Faith Promise is an adventure and an opportunity to allow God to show how He provides when we open our hearts in generosity. Saturday night, 6pm, we are having a soup dinner and listening to Stephen speak about his and God's work. No dish required and no signup, just come. Ash Wednesday
Wednesday, February 22 | 6:30pm | Join us for a special service that marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a season that is a time of penitence, discipline, and renewal. Children and youth are invited to join the service. PreK programming will be provided in the children's center. Supper will be provided beforehand from 5:30-6:15pm as usual.
SuperStart
Friday and Saturday, March 17-18 | 4th-6th Graders, join kids across the district for a high-energy event for live music, interactive teaching, small group discussion, games, snacks, and fun!
