Reading: Genesis 2:8-17
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your hospitality! Lord, in the beginning You took the first people and placed them in a beautiful garden of Your creation with plenty of food and comforts. Lord, You know exactly what I need. I ask, Lord, for You to help me learn by Your example and to give a place to others as they need and as You enable me.

Reading: Leviticus 19:33-34
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word. Thank You for showing me through the ages Your ways never change. Lord, help me to be hospitable to those around me as I welcome into my home both guests and visitors! Lord, help me to show genuine care for those friends who I know well and also to my neighbor who I may not know well. Thank You, Lord, for continuing to guide me every day.

Lord, I know I can do this with You on my side. Lord, help me to live a life of hospitality in showing Your generosity to whoever You bring across my path. Open my eyes, Lord, to one person today to whom I can show Your love.

Lord, I want to be so filled with Your joy that caring for others becomes part of my daily life. Lord, I ask that You direct me to those in need and help me to respond with hospitable love. I love You, Lord!
