Deuteronomy 4

1. Following God’s instructions is GOOD FOR US.

WHY should you & I obey God?

God is the engineering genius who made us.

Because God is the mastermind who engineered us, it makes logical sense
to do what He says.

2. Following God’s instructions HELPS OTHERS.

God wants other nations to be attracted to what Israel has.

Is the God of Israel the engineering genius of all humans people?

Do the 10 Commandments still have relevance to us in our relationships
with God and people?

Has God given us an additional body of wisdom called the New Testament
that is not to be picked through but to be followed completely?

Are there spectators watching us too?

3. What happens when I ignore God’s wisdom?

Ignoring God’s wisdom PROVOKES GOD’S ANGER.

But if we return to God in humility, IN HIS MERCY, GOD WILL RECEIVE US AGAIN.

Have I been ignoring God’s wisdom?

How is that working out?

Let's cultivate a humble spirit that admits wrong quickly and receives grace gladly.

Obey God for your own good.

Obey God for the good of others.

And when you fail, don’t quit. Receive God’s mercy & get back on the path!
