Psalm 139:23
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. NLT
Exodus 14:11
They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? NIV
Exodus 14:12
Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” NIV
Exodus 16:8
You’re not grumbling (complaining) against us but against the Lord. NIV
What do you complain about the most?
Complaining problem: We take our eyes off the goodness of God and focus on ourselves
Paul could be tempted more than anyone to complain
Philippians 2:14
Do everything without complaining (grumbling) and arguing, 15 so that no

Repeated complaining hard wires our brain to complain more
If you can change your circumstances, then do something
If you can't change your circumstances, then change your perspective
Philippians 2:17
But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and
service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me. NIV
Even if I'm being poured out like a drink offering, I am still glad, and I rejoice.
