(The Servant) has been fashioned for effectiveness. Evidence to the
contrary is transient appearance and no ultimate reality. The task which
seems to have defeated Him is in fact the very thing the Lord has prepared
Him for- the spiritual restoration of the people…Thus despondency flies
away and buoyancy takes its place.
