One of the missions we support at ECC is Isaiah 117 House which helps care for children awaiting foster placement. On January 6-7, Isaiah 117 House will be hosting Help Build Hope where the community comes together to build interior walls of the new Isaiah 117 House. They need over 150 participants from the community to help with the construction from age 5 and up. January 6 will be a training day with building following on January 7. We encourage our church community to help out this mission by participating in this build. Our ECC Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2023, where we will elect new council members. The council nominates Sally Louk and Audette Taylor to three-year terms. Members of ECC may nominate others, provided nominees have been members of ECC for at least 4 years, they agree to the nomination in advance, and their names are received by Council (council@ecclife.net) by January 8, 2023. After that, nominations will be closed.

Sunday mornings at 9:00am in person in the Great Room. The Adult Sunday School Class is doing a study of 1 and 2 Peter.

• Wednesday Morning Men's Fellowship: Men, please join us each week at 6:30am. The ECC Wednesday Morning Men’s group has started a new study using the book Vanishing Grace by Philip Yancey. This group is currently meeting via Zoom. For an invite, please email Ken Ritchey. (mailto:kritchey@tds.net) We'd love to see you there!

• Wednesday Evening Group: Pastor Kurt’s weekly study meets at 6:30pm on Wednesdays in Room 10. We hope you can join us. Pastor Kurt’s weekly study is not meeting this week.

• Organizing to Save Your Sanity!: Ladies, come learn about decluttering, organizing, and storage solutions for your home as we begin the New Year! We will meet in the Great Room on January 17 at 6:30pm! RSVP: https://ecclife.net/organizing

• Student Café: Student Cafe is on a break. Stay tuned.

• High School Night: Join us at ECC, 6:30pm, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays every month. The night will include snacks, games, spiritual formation, and community building with Pastor Chuck. AND, if you are NOT a H.S. student or parent but would like to help with these H.S. Nights, contact Pastor Chuck with any questions: cpotts@ecclife.net.

• Fusion: Fusion: 6th-12th graders, join us on Sunday evenings from 5:15pm - 7:00pm for a combined youth group experience. Fusion will be meeting next on 1/15, 1/22, and 1/29 at Sunrise Christian Reform Church (909 E 500 S).

Our preschool through 5th grade Kids Out Loud classes are not meeting today, December 25 or on January 1. The nursery will remain open for birth to age 3 on both Sundays. We look forward to seeing all our kids in classes again on January 8!

Registration is open for the January 2024 trip to Israel with Pastor Kurt and Jo Kincanon, Kate and Todd Cogswell, along with Covenant pastor Dr. John Delancey and Biblical Israel Ministries and Tours, and the next early bird discount is January 6, 2023.
