I. Glory - What it is (Who it is) - John 1:14

A. God’s glory had previously resided in the Tabernacle and then in the Temple - Exodus 40:34-35, 2 Chronicles 7:1-3

B. Glory = radiance, glory, honor, fame; it is the nature and acts of God revealed in self-manifestation.

C. God’s glory revealed -

1. In the Father - Isaiah 6:1-4
2. In Creation - Romans 1:18-21
3. In the Son - John 1:14, Mark 9:2-8

II. Glory - What it means (to me)

A. We are to live our lives to the Glory of God - 1 Corinthians 10:31

B. We are to love to the Glory of God - Philippians 1:9-11

C. We are to worship to the Glory of God - Psalm 29:1-4
