Description: In the night sky, there are a lot of places to look for direction. The question that ancient navigators had to answer was: "which star will help us get where we need to go?" It's hard to imagine setting sail with no map and only the night sky to guide you, but when you've got the right star to follow, it makes all the difference. In the same way, the Scriptures describe the coming of Jesus as the dawning of a new day, the rising of a new star that would serve to illuminate for us the way back to God. If we step out to follow the light of Jesus, it will lead us into everlasting life and rejoicing, but the path that gets us there is the path of faith. If we learn to look at Jesus instead of other shiny objects, He will lead us faithfully. The

question is: which star will we choose to look at?

If you want to be used by God, put yourself in a position to be called

upon.

The path that leads to rejoicing is the path of FAITH

• Illuminated - THINGS THAT RECEIVE LIGHT

FAITH IS WHAT WE LOOK TO WHEN THINGS ARE DARK

The light that leads us to rejoicing is not found within ourselves

4. Faith is trusting God with the HOW because we know the WHY

The most important way to respond to this God is to trust Him.

The Gospel according to Zechariah:

"We have been rescued from the hand of our enemies, to serve him

without fear in holiness and righteousness in his presence all our

days."
