What do you do when you are facing the Angel of Death?
Exodus 12:3-14, 21-22
1. STEP #1 vs 21-22
Make sure you are in Right Covenant with God
John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Ephesians 2:13 - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Romans 3:25 - whom God set forth as a [a]propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.
2. STEP #2 vs 22b
Stay inside – Stay Connected – Stay in Communication
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Ephesians 6:18 - praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
3. STEP #3 vs 9a
Roast it over Fire
Acts 2:3 - Then there appeared to them [a]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
Luke 3:16 - John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
John 14:16 - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever
John 14:26 - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
4. STEP #4 vs 9b
Eat it all
2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
5. STEP #5 vs 11
Be ready to go
Cloak/Robe
Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
Galatians 3:27 - For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Belt
Ephesians 6:4 - Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,
Sandals
Ephesians 6:15 - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
God is going to bring you out!!!!
