1. The Kingdom DEFINED

The word “Kingdom” is made up of two words: “KING’S DOMAIN” = King Dom. It’s the territory or area over which a King rules & reigns; the King’s Domain.

God’s Kingdom is the REIGN or the RULE of God, whether in heaven or on earth. It’s the purpose of God—the extension of God’s rule.

The Greek Word for Kingdom in the New Testament is “BASILEIA”. It means royal power, kingship, dominion, rule or reign. In the New Testament it means a new order exemplified by the life of JESUS.

In summary, the Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of God over the universe and all creatures within. There is only ONE Kingdom of God even though there have been many INSTRUMENTS through which this Kingdom has been expressed.

But the FINAL instrument for the expression and manifestation and demonstration of the Kingdom of God is THE CHURCH!
