God made everything. He loves us. God is always working to save us. And he offers forgiveness and life through the death and resurrection of Jesus. We become a new person as we repent, and totally surrender our lives to God. God guides us and transforms us as we let his Spirit live in us, and as we learn from the Bible.
The God of love (Father, Son, and Spirit) made us and loves us. We were made to love Him back and all He has made.

Sin is a choice to not love God back (doubt, disobedience, rejection) or love what God loves.
It comes with great consequences.
Every human was born with the result of this break with God (called Original Sin).
This is an attitude of not wanting to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Sin begins in the heart and moves outward to action.

Even after salvation people are capable of sin.
The Holy Spirit provides power to help us want, choose, and learn Christlike ways of living.
