Do you recognize the voice of God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit? If not, what do you need to do to better hear from Him?

We need to be consistently plugged into His Word, putting away other distractions so we can hear His Word and then obey what it says and be willing to listen to God’s counsel through His people too.

God calls us to be obedient to what He has called us to do even when things get difficult and uncomfortable.

Ease and comfort aren’t always indicators you are doing what God has called you to do. Many times, the enemy throws more hardships and spiritual attacks at you the more you are doing effective work for the Lord!

What do you use to mark success in your life? Is it a certain monetary amount you have achieved as a salary, in savings, or in retirement? Is it a level of recognition or awards you have received? Is it a job promotion or title?

What is your identity built upon? Who are you in God’s eyes? Humbly ask Him to show you how He sees you.

Do you know what God’s task is for you?

Our basic task is the same as Paul’s. We have all been tasked with sharing the Gospel of Jesus, which is the good news of God’s grace!

Are you ready and willing to answer the call of God and say, “Here I am Lord, send me”?

All believers are brothers and sisters in the Lord—we are one big family.

The more authentic and vulnerable you are willing to be with others, the more authentic and stronger your relationships will be.

Are you satisfied and content with what God has provided for you or are you always wanting more?

“If you focus more on what you don’t have than on what you do have, it’s time to reexamine your priorities and put God’s work back in first place. We live in a culture of instant gratification. If we want something, we can often have it immediately. The Bible never promises such instant material satisfaction. Instead, God promises internal and eternal comfort and contentment. Examine your priorities, let go of everything you have coveted, and ask God to help you find peace and satisfaction in the blessings He has given you.” – LASB Study Bible notes

“It is more blessed to give than receive”.

Some have the gift of giving but all of us should realize that we are never more like God than when we are loving others and giving. God loved us so much that He gave His one and only Son Jesus to live for us and die for us. That is the greatest gift ever!
