Obedience
Senior Pastor Craig Lydon continues the 4 part series through the OT book of Haggai, titled "Living Strong In Confusing Times", bringing the message from Haggai 2:10-19 and thinking about Obedience. Craig says “We all live in a culture that is driven by time and deadlines and it focuses much on the future. Our attitude to time can be that it relates to efficiency and productivity. It feels like we’re more inclined than ever to use time to accomplish results rather than to build in to relationships. Our Christian faith also is impacted by this thinking. It’s the old tension between doing and being, and the people of Haggai also struggled with this.” There will also be an interview with one of the Shalom women, who will be sharing their story of restoration.

Haggai 3rd message to the people
1. A reminder 2v10
What God seems to be saying to them is that it’s easier to become unclean and sinful than it is to become holy.
Working hard to please God.
To obey is better than sacrifice.
