Genesis 31-33, 35, 37

In all of Joseph’s loss, because God was with him, he didn’t lose hope. Shockingly, he thrived.

Confidence in the presence of God is the foundation of GENUINE INTEGRITY.

Real integrity is about moment by moment, living to please God, because God is with me.

Whether Joseph is facing devastating loss, relentless temptation, or deep disappointment, the presence of God (and really nothing else) is what sustains Joseph.

The Lord was with Joseph.
And that, for Joseph, was enough.

What do these verses say about God's presence with us?

1. We can rejoice in any circumstances if we are IN THE LORD.

2. We can be gentle with the people around us because GOD IS WATCHING, and He's been gentle and gracious with us.

3. We can LET GO OF OUR ANXIETY because God offers to take it for us.

4. When we transfer OUR WORRIES to God, He transfers HIS PEACE to us.

My next step with God this week is to…

I’m not confident God is with me. I’m going to talk to someone I respect about a personal relationship with God.

Identify a specific area of my life where I am sensing my need for God’s presence (strength, help, wisdom…) and entrust that need to Him.
