The Gift of Listening - Phil Kendon
One of the most precious gifts we can give to each other is the gift of listening. Through listening, we show that we value each other and that we consider each other’s opinion to be valid even if we disagree. By listening, we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who listened to everything his Father spoke. And the most precious gift of all is that God is willing to listen to us. He hears our cry, listens to our prayers and he responds in love and mercy. May we learn to listen to one another better so that we represent God better in this world.
