WICKED BEAST
The man of sin, the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition (destruction), the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 8)
Antichrist starts as a peacemaker, but eventually reveal his wickedness
CONQUERER
Revelation 13:1
I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. NIV

It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.
The sea is a picture of gentile humanity (Daniel 7, Isaiah 17, Isaiah 57, Revelation 17)

Revelation 13:3
One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the
fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. NIV
People will give their allegiance to the beast (Revelation 13:3)

Revelation 13:4
People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast,
and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?” NIV
Isaiah 14:13
For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. 14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.’ NLT

or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. NIV
