Redefining Moments – 17-22 October 2022

It is in “Redefining Moments” each day that our faith is strengthened through time in prayer and reading the Bible.  This weekly guide is designed to help you in your journey.

Locations & Times

Stationsstraat 55, 3090 Overijse, Belgium

Monday 5:15 AM

MONDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Psalm 139:17-18, 23-24
Prayer: Lord, I embrace the truth of your precious thoughts toward me. Show me patterns in my mind and recurring thoughts that don't align with your thoughts toward me. Help me hold on to the truth of how you see me. I'm so grateful for Your marvelous grace and love. Thank you for loving me.
TUESDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Romans 12:1-2
Prayer: Jesus, I worship You with my whole life today. Even when it's easy to conform and fall in line with my world's norms, give me strength and courage to have a renewed mind and a heart that beats after Yours! I love You, Lord!
WEDNESDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Ephesians 4:21-24
Prayer: God, today, I need the work of your Holy Spirit in my life. While the battle rages around me, please help me to put of my old self and to put on the new self, created in Your likeness. Continue that transformation work in me today.
THURSDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Philippians 4:4-9
Prayer: Lord, help me today to rejoice in every circumstance. Let my focus be on the positive things that You have done. Forgive me for times when I've let fear and anxiety keep me from talking with You and drawing closer to You. Give me the strength that I need today to be a blessing to others around me. In Jesus' name, Amen!
FRIDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Isaiah 26:3
Prayer: Help me, O Lord, to be steadfast and trusting. Forgive me for moments when I've allowed my heart to race and my mind filled with worry. You are so faithful, strong and loving!
SATURDAY: The Battle for My Mind
Reading: Romans 8:1-4
Prayer: Jesus, my heart leaps as I realize what You have accomplished in me. You have not rejected me, but You have loved me and taken away my condemnation and invited me to be with You and truly free. Lord, please put someone in my path this weekend that needs to know that You take the fear of being rejected by God and replace it with a loving welcome and a release of the shame and condemnation. My fear is powerless because of what You have done in my life. I love You, Lord
