Misconception about the devil: He is not real

Misconception about the devil: He’s in hell waiting to torment people who go there

Revelation 20:10
The devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,
where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. NIV

Job 1:6
One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them. 7 “Where have you come from?” the LORD asked Satan. Satan answered the LORD, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” NLT

2 Corinthians 2:11
We don’t want to unwittingly give Satan an opening for yet more mischief—
we’re not oblivious to his sly ways! MSG (We are not ignorant of his schemes. Or: We know what he is trying to do).

Satan is persistent

Revelation 12:10

— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night. NLT

Satan called the accuser

GREAT TRIBULATION: God's wrath combined with Satan's wrath
The battle in Heaven that we can’t see becomes the battle on earth we can see

Revelation 12:6
The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place to care for her for 1,260 days. NLT

She would be cared for and protected from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time. NLT

Why has God been patient by allowing Satan access to Heaven?

Answer: God’s grace to the world
