CROCKtober Fest is HERE!

And we are going to celebrate with FOOD!

Bring your favorite CROCK POT dish. It can be a main course, an appetizer or even a dessert. We’ll have a good old fashion POTLUCK. Make sure you bring your own serving utensils. We’ll supply the beverages, eating utensils and seating.

Activities begin in Centennial Hall (gym) at 5pm on Saturday, Oct 29th.
Following the Potluck, we invite you outside to enjoy a BIKE PARADE in the parking lot. Kids will decorate their bikes, scooters, tricycles and wagons with glow sticks, lights, and ribbons. Kids will travel through a marked path as spectators urge them on from lawn chairs they brought and set along the path.

After the enjoyment of the parade, we will return to the gym for dessert and treats.

Pointe Kids Christmas Musical

Practices have begun for Angel Alert, the childrens' Christmas Musical. Practices will be Sundays from 1-3pm in the sanctuary. Students should bring a sack lunch and eat in room 201. Kids in grades kindergarten - 6th grade should sign up at the Pointe Kids check-in counter. If you have questions, please see Cathy Schlamb.

Samaritan's Purse

During the months of September and October, our Church will be collecting items for the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoeboxes again! Our goal this year is to pack 100 boxes.

Please consider joining us in spreading the Good News in this beautiful ministry in the following ways:
-Please pray for the child who will receive your gift.
-Shop for items that can fit in a shoebox and drop them in the box labeled OCC in the lobby.
-Get and offering envelope at the display table in the lobby, to help with the $10.00 fee for shipping each shoebox, or for shopping for more items. Please put them in the Church’s offering basket.

You are welcome to stop at the OCC display table in the lobby for more information.

CPO55

In October 2022, CrossPointe Over 55 is again volunteering at GAIN (Global Aid Network) in PA. Their ministry is spreading the Gospel with humanitarian aid.
We’re planning to take: School Care Packs, warm blankets, used children’s clothing and shoes in good condition.
Would you like to join us in this effort? Please stop at the display table in the lobby for more information, and bring them back on October 9th, 2022.
