Jesus was resting. Not just taking a cat nap or resting His eyes. He was asleep on a chusion. BUT, Jesus is with them in the storm.

Jesus was in the storm - Jesus was with his disciples in the storm. Jesus left perfection at the right hand of God the father to be born into a humble family. He chose to suffer as we suffer. He chose to put up with the selfishness of his followers, he chose to put up with the hatred of the religious elite. And he chose to be in the storm with his disciples.

GOD HAS CHOSEN TO BE WITH US IN THE STORMS. Our emotions will tell us we are alone. Scripture tells us we are never alone.

Jesus is in charge of the storm!

Notice how quickly their unhealthy fear of the storm turned into a perfectly healthy fear of God.

Fear of Man

When we feel unloved or uncared for, we must remember that the cross proves God's care.

God is greater than anything so I can trust Him with everything.

Fear of Failure

God knows what your future holds.
God knows more things than you can comprehend.
God knows what is best for you.
