What is the Truth?

Truth is founded in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Truth is revealed by the Spirit through the Word of Jesus Christ.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32

Truth is told by Followers of Jesus Christ!
But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. 2 Tim 2:23-26

ANALYSIS/APPLICATION: 3 Simple Truths Worth Telling

1. The Truth that God is Love
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. Acts 10:34

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:7-11

The Truth that Man is a Sinner.
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him... Vs 35

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever
believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” Vs 43

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.10 As it is written“There is none righteous, no, not one;11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.12 They have all turned aside;They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”13 “Their throat is an open [a]tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;“The poison of asps is under their lips”;14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;17 And the way of peace they have not known.”18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:9-18, 23

3. The Truth that Jesus is Lord!
The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— 37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.
