Read Revelation 21:1 - 22:5

1. Finish this sentence: When most people think of heaven, they imagine….

2. Make 2 lists (according to this passage):
1) What will NOT be present in the New Jerusalem (the “old” that passes away)
2) What WILL be present (the “new” that God makes)

3. Consider the lists from Question #2.
Circle the thing from the “old” side that you are most eager to see passed away.
Circle the thing from the “new” side that you look forward to most.

4. Revelation 21:6 talks about those who are thirsty drinking freely from the “spring of the water of life.” What other scripture passage(s) does this bring to mind?

5. What relationship word pictures does God use to portray His intimacy with us?

6. We already have many promises of God’s presence with us NOW (Mt. 28:20; Jn. 14:17; Gal. 2:20; Joshua 1:9, etc.). How will His presence with us in heaven be different?

7. How can we be certain that we will be allowed to enter the new city?
