In the last days, there will be a seven year period of time called the Tribulation: Daniel 9:24-27

Three and a half years: 42 months OR 1260 days OR times time and half a time

Daniel 12:9 Daniel, go about your business, because the meaning of this message will remain secret (sealed) until the end of time. CEV

The angle handed a scroll to John and told him to eat it (Revelation 10:9) Scrolled tasted sweet like hone but sour to the stomach (Revelation 10:10)

Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” NIV

Daniel 12:7
I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.

Purpose of the tribulation: Judge the non-believer AND bring Israel to faith

Revelation 11:1
I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.”

Revelation 11:8
Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. NIV

Last days: A temple will be rebuilt

Daniel 9:27
The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him. NLT

2 Thessalonians 2:4
He sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. NLT

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss. NIV

Acts 20:24

God has a mission and purpose for you to fulfill

Revelation 11:9
For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. NIV

2 Timothy 3:12
Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. NLT

Matthew 5:10
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness (doing right). NIV

Revelation 11:11
But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. NIV
