PART ONE: I KNOW!
If you know something, but don’t do it, do you truly know it?
“When we believe but don’t do, our dreams don’t come true.”
Just believing is dangerous.

The sandy foundation is the concept of Jesus that only requires you to just believe.
The solid foundation is the real Jesus that calls you into a relationship that has been exercised and tested and proven.

PART TWO: WELL, I USED TO...
Just because I used to do something well, doesn’t mean I can still do it today.
If I haven’t had a real life story of God’s presence intersecting with my everyday life, am I really following Jesus?
If we, as a church, aren’t celebrating new believers among us, can we say that we are living out our faith and following Jesus well?

Congregational Prayer for Week Three:
James 2: 14-18
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith
but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.
16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but
does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is
dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my
deeds.
These verses continue to invite us to go deeper in our faith walk as we confront actions, deeds, visible steps of faith.
1) How do you grasp putting faith in action, as God's ambassadors?
2) How is God moving you to pray for the Elders of Pathways as they discern the pastoral transition?
