GOD USES A METAPHOR TO DESCRIBE HIS CHURCH = THE BODY OF CHRIST
THE BODY OF CHRIST SPEAKS OF TWO THINGS:
1.. THE BODY = THE CONTAINER
2. OF CHRIST = THE CONTENT
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (Container & Content) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, (Content) to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (Content) that we should no longer be children, (Container) tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ (Content)-—from whom the whole body, (Container & Content) joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body (Container & Content) for the edifying of itself in love.

Having a Pocket of People walk with you is God’s Answer to = Loneliness

“When you gather, each one of you be prepared with something useful for all: Sing a hymn, teach a lesson, tell a story, lead a prayer, provide an insight… Take your turn, with no one person taking over. That way… you all learn from each other.”

“As each part does its work, it helps the other parts grow, so Christ’s whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
Hebrews 10:25a (TEV)
“Let us not give up the habit of meeting together… Instead, let us encourage one another.”
