Pray for Alliance International Workers : PHILIPPINES | Intercede for earthquake survivors in Abra, Philippines, including those who are now homeless or whose loved ones have died. The 7.0-magnitude quake resulted in President Marcos issuing a four-point directive: 1) provide immediate aid of food, shelter, and water; 2) expedite the clearing of roads and repair of bridges to facilitate access by people to services within and outside their communities; 3) restore power and communications to households; 4) assess the structural damage to hospitals, schools, residential buildings, and houses.

The earthquake sent shock waves across north and central Luzon to metro Manila. Over 5,200 houses were destroyed, 33 health facilities were damaged, and 57 schools were damaged or destroyed.

Pray for God’s comfort, help, and provision in the wake of this tragic disaster and that many will turn to Jesus in their time of need.
