By Faith The Spirit of God Works IN YOU, & Produces Godly Fruit THROUGH YOU.
The way we live our lives communicates what we believe or don’t believe about God Himself.
Whatyou do is what you believe, everything else is just religious talk.
Faith-bearing fruit is not optional, it's an expectation.
Our faith is the soil which produces healthy, godly fruit.
By Faith The Spirit of God Works IN YOU, & Produces Godly Fruit THROUGH YOU.

Dig Deeper:
1. As we continue this series looking at things the Bible doesn’t say, and what it actually does say, have you come across other sayings that would fit into this category?
2. Have you ever heard someone say, “All you need is faith”? In what context was this statement given?
3. Look up the definition of faith. How is faith foundational in the life of every Christ follower?
4. Read Ephesians 2:7-9. If you have surrendered your life to Jesus, how has being saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone impacted your life?
5. How do you personally respond throughout your days in thanksgiving to God’s unconditional love and the work He has done in your life?
6. Read James 2:14. We are saved through faith. What is a natural product of our faith?
7. The Spirit of God works in us as believers in Christ. Describe some examples of the fruit that the Spirit produces in us.
8. What we believe shapes what we do in life; our actions are responses to what we believe. Share a few examples of how our beliefs shape our actions.
9. Describe the difference of adding God to our life vs. God transforming our life.
10. A quote from A.W. Tozer is: “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” What comes into your mind when you think about God?
11. The way we live our lives communicates what we believe or don’t believe about God himself. If you asked someone close to you to describe how you live your life, what do you think he or she would say?
12. Discuss a time when what you believe about God directly shaped what you did in that situation.
13. Read James 2:15-18. How does James relate how our faith ultimately effects our actions to the example of encouraging someone who has physical needs with words instead of actions?
14. Read James 2:19. Why is it important to acknowledge that demons believe in Jesus; they just don’t honor him as Lord and Savior?
15. Read Matthew 5:14-16. What is it so important not to hide our light (faith)? How does your light shine to others “so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven?”
16. How are the good works that are done without faith different from the good works that are produced by faith?

Live It Out:
1. How is your faith practically changing the way you live your life? Read Philippians 1:6. God is not done working in your life. When you have placed your faith in Him, He will transform the way you live your life. Does your faith transform:
How you make decisions?
How you parent your children?
How you view your marriage?
How you conduct yourself at work?
How you handle your finances?
How you plan and organize your calendar?
2. Based on your answers above, spend time with God throughout the week, thanking Him for how He has, and will continue, to transform you life. Pray for him to continue to do a work in you specific to areas you have identified.
