Asking for a Friend
Our world is filled with wonders and mysteries. The pressures of making a living often overshadow our aspirations to make a life. Every new challenge, every fresh opportunity comes loaded with questions. Who has real answers? Are they reliable? Are they satisfying? Does anyone really know? Does God even care? We are living and serving the Lord in a pluralistic society that loves spirituality and spiritual conversations. Thankfully, this fascination with spirituality provides incredible opportunities to engage our friends in spiritual conversations. Each conversation is a divine appointment with people in our lives who are not far from the Kingdom of God. Jesus had an encounter with one of these spiritually curious friends. In the conversation, Jesus helped bring clarity to the very important idea that pluralism misses the truth. As followers of Christ, we stand on the truth that Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. Salvation is found in Christ alone.

About our church.

We exist to love all people to Christ and equip them on their journey with God and one another. We believe Jesus Christ is the hope of the world and the church is His plan for sharing that hope with the world. We love to worship God, explore His Word, encourage one another, and serve our community. There is nothing we enjoy more than seeing people discover new life in Jesus Christ as they experience the love of God through us and Him!

There is only ONE GOD.

“There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe.” (Article 2 – Baptist Faith and Message 2000)
There is only ONE SAVIOR.

“Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense, salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. (Article 4 – Baptist Faith and Message 2000)
There is only ONE PATH.

• Sin is your greatest problem. (Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23)
• Forgiveness is a personal story. Isaiah 53:5, Romans 5:8)
• Salvation is an available gift. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23)
• Responding to Christ is unavoidable. (Romans 10:9-10)
