Prayer Focus:

Missions Focus: Pray for Jim and Cara T., who work with Japanese students at the University of Minnesota and a few other universities in Minnesota. Please be praying for them as they are preparing to welcome students coming from Japan in the next few weeks.

Local: Pray for people in your world that feel fear in sharing who they really are with friends and family.

Church: Pray for Greg and Kelsey Barber as they are in the last days of their sabbatical.

Corner Church UNITED Service is Sunday, August 21 at 10a at Theodore Wirth Beach, 3200 Glenwood Ave, bringing our four communities together for one UNITED Service. *There will only be the one UNITED service on the 21st. We will be having a short worship service, a baptism celebration, and a cookout potluck. Bring a side or dessert to share. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.

Would you like to be baptized or do you have questions about baptism? There will be an opportunity to be baptized at our August 21 UNITED service. Like a wedding or graduation, baptism is a beautiful, public ceremony celebrating commitment to Christ. Now is the time to ask your questions and/or voice your interest. On Sunday evening, August 21, we will be doing our grand opening party for Corner Coffee Northeast. There will be free drinks, music, and dessert for everyone in our Corner Church and Corner Coffee world. 6p - 8p, 2226 Central Ave NE. Together we celebrate this milestone.

Fall Connection Groups start at the end of September and go until Thanksgiving. Would you like to lead a Fall Connection Group? It can meet weekly or monthly; it can be Bible study, fun activities, eating out, reading a book. The goal is deepening relationship and intentional prayer for each other.
