SERIES OVERVIEW:

Have you thought about your boundaries lately? Often, we have the misconception that boundary issues only belong to people who can’t say no. The reality is that every type of personality may struggle to practice healthy boundaries. This month we will begin to define what boundaries really are and consider if we may need to make some changes. Talking about boundaries may feel uncomfortable but being free of boundary issues outweighs the cost of our discomfort. Scripture has a lot to say about healthy boundaries, so for the next four weeks we dive into how we practice Biblical boundaries in our marriage, in our work or volunteer settings, and in ourselves.

SERMON OVERVIEW:

It is hard for most of us to see work as a spiritual activity—something that contributes to our character development and our trust in God. We must remember that we are made in the image of God, who Himself is a worker, a manager, a creator, and a developer. We should not separate our lives between our Christian life and our work life. They are one in the same. Yet, with any aspect of our lives, we need to set boundaries in our work pursuits. Work should not shape our spiritual live, rather our spiritual life should shape our work.
