Welcome to Eastminster!
Eastminster's mission is to encourage people to enjoy the fullness of knowing, loving and becoming like Jesus.

Worship
Worship is where we orient our lives towards God and we are filled again with his presence. We are one church body with three distinct worship venues, bound by common faith and vision.

Grow
We believe we are best discipled (becoming more like Jesus) when we interact with God's Word in authentic community. We do this through Grow Groups, which currently meet in person and online. Find yours at www.eastminster.org/grow-groups.

Serve
We are most fulfilled in the church when we are using our gifts to serve others. Want to learn more about opportunities to serve? Visit www.eastminster.org/serve.

GO
We all GO and share the gospel, from the end of the street to the ends of the earth. Being missional is who we are.

TableNTalk
Cooks Needed! Volunteer training on August 15

What if you could reach the world for Christ, one person at a time?

Eastminster volunteers host a weekly ministry called “TableNTalk,” which meets in a home and provides a place for internationals to enjoy a home-cooked American meal, practice their English and hear about Truth. Without the cost and time of taking a trip across the globe, we can join in a global impact outreach to international students right in our community.

Our most pressing need is for cooks. Volunteers cook one Monday a month. We're also looking for young adults to build relationships with the international students.

Contact Wendy Ferguson at wferguson@eastminster.org to learn more!

Lunch Buddy Training

Wednesday, August 24, 6:30 - 8 p.m.; C-12 God has opened the door for us to continue partnering with a local public-school, Washington Elementary. Located at Central and Hydraulic, Washington serves 500 students in Grades K-5. You can make a difference in their lives by becoming a Lunch Buddy. Often, students just need a consistent, caring adult being a presence in their lives. You’ll be matched with a student who you meet with during the lunch period, once a week for the school year. Plan to eat lunch together, play games, read, or be a listening ear. We welcome men and women of all ages. To learn more, join us a for a training led by Youth Horizons to equip you with everything you’ll need to make an impact. You can apply to be a Lunch Buddy online before or after the training at the link below. Question? Contact wferguson@eastminster.org for more information.

Grow Groups Launch August 21

Our groups are each unique and they're a place deep friendships are formed, milestones are celebrated, people are prayed over, meals delivered in times of need, and real life is shared. This is true biblical community, and if you're not part of something already, we encourage you to take a look at the groups and then join in. You can find group information linked below or there are handy printed Guides available in the church Lobby. If you have any questions, reach out to Matt Jaderston at 634.0337 ext. 2016.
