God is love; because God is love, God HATES! Because God loves righteousness, God hates evil; because God loves justice, God hates injustice; and because God loves sinners, God hates sin!
God loves us so much and hates sin so much that He sent his son to die as a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus’s death and resurrection did not diminish God’s hatred for sin; it has elevated it.
God hates a proud look. Pride destroys the lives of those who embrace it and the lives of those who are oppressed by it.
Pride is the root of rebellion; it is the fuel that feeds the fire of oppression and violence in our world.
God resist the proud and all forms of pride. Like an army at war against an enemy God has declared war on pride. God is fighting for you, but when you are filled with pride, God will resist you in order to destroy the pride within you.
