Bible Reading - Deuteronomy 7:6-11

6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.<br><br>7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.<br><br>8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.<br><br>9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.<br><br>10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.<br><br>11 Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees and laws I give you today.

<b>1. Prayer With An Elder After Our Services</b><br>After each of our services, you are welcome to seek prayer with an elder who will be waiting towards the front of church. One of the privileges we have as Christians is that we can bring to God our cares and concerns, and trust that He will answer our prayers. <br><br><b>2. Connect &amp; Coffee</b><br>At our next Connect &amp; Coffee, our organist, Ben Harris will give a talk and demonstration of the magnificent St Stephen’s Pipe Organ. This will be followed by morning tea in the Blue Room. Baptism/Membership Classes</b><br>If you are not yet baptised or a member, and you consider this your church family and the place you want to grow and invest, we invite you to join our upcoming baptism and membership classes. Join A Growth Group</b><br>One of the ways in which we grow in our love and knowledge of Jesus, and have opportunities to give ourselves to loving service of each other is to be part of a growth group. Our growth groups are weekly Bible studies in fellowship with one another. We have growth groups each night of the week (except Sundays), and we would love for you to join one if you are not yet in one. You may do so from the Linktree link ‘Join a Growth Group’.<br><br><b>5. Prayer Meeting Starting Sun 9am</b><br>Join us for our weekly prayer meeting each Sunday at 9am either in person in the church hall or online over Zoom. It is a wonderful way for the church family to bring together to the Lord our prayers of praise and thanksgiving, along with the needs of the church and the world. You can find the Zoom link from the LinkTree below. <br><br><b>6. Yoshi - Friday 7.30pm (During school term)</b><br>The Youth Group is at church on Fridays from 7:30-9:30pm. If you are in high school or know of anyone in high school, then this is for you. In a world that exposes our youth to all sorts of ideas, we want to make sure that all of us will be living in this world with a rigorous and firm faith in Jesus Christ. This term the youth are looking through the book of Galatians If you would like further information, please speak to Oli. <br><br><b>7. 26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,<br><br>27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.<br><br>28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.<br><br><b>Chapter 4</b><br>1 What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.<br><br>2 He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.<br><br>3 So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.<br><br>4 But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,<br><br>5 to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.<br><br>6 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."<br><br>7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
