The Wrong Way of Knowing: Trying to understand life apart from God, the influence of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word.
The Right Way of Knowing

To eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil represents the attempt to understand yourself and all of life apart from God.
Everything can either be rightly seen and perceived in God’s Light or be seen erroneously and misunderstood in the absence of that light.
The pursuit of knowledge outside of God’s Light leads to foolishness and despair.
The issue in life is not who you are.
