Operation Christmas Child: Christmas in July |
It's time to start shopping for Operation Christmas Child. July is the beginning of Back to School Sales when you can get crayons, pencils, pens and such at greatly reduced prices. Target is a good source. The school center is in the back right corner of the store.
This will be our 24th year of participation in Operation Christmas Child. Last year we collected 93 boxes. Let's see what we can do this year to reach children for Jesus! Our official kick-off will be October 16.

Pray for Alliance International Workers: MEXICO | The Breath of Life church in Guadalajara is preparing to build on land they were able to buy. However, due to deeply ingrained corruption, an inspector came by and put a "closed due to fines" sign on their front gate. He had false papers claiming that they don’t own the land. It really is all about the inspector wanting a bribe to make this go away, but we cannot do that with God’s money, so we have hired a lawyer to deal with this legally. The lawyer got us permission to have church services in the tent we use on the land." Pray for this sticky situation in a very corrupt system. Pray for Bob, the Alliance worker who is heading up this project.
