Secrets from the Heart of Persevering Servanthood

Paul said that He was a SERVANT of Christ.
And, Paul said that He was a MANAGER of Christ.
And, Paul said that He was a MANAGER of Christ.
When Paul wrote to the church at Rome, he said: I am a SERVANT first and then he said I am an APOSTLE.
Understanding servanthood teaches us of the heart of SUBMISSION, stewardship or being God’s manager teaches us the act of ACCOUNTABILITY.
In verse three Paul talks about MAN’S judgment which would be the lowest of all courts in God’s judicial system.
In verse four Paul talks about what could be called the middle court or SELF-judgment. Paul is saying: I know MYSELF.
This is what could be called the DIVINE judgment or the Supreme Court.
Paul says that the reason He lets God do the EXAMINING is because He knows everything.

He tells us in verse six that pride is UNSCRIPTURAL. He tells us in verse seven that pride is UNSPIRITUAL.

1. We know that if we’re truly saved, we’re sons and daughter of God. Since that is the case, how would you distinguish from being a son or a daughter of God and having the heart of a servant?
2. According to God’s Word, what type of judgment should we be involved with and what type of judgment should be left only to God?
3. Do you believe that people who have the heart of a servant to the Lord Jesus Christ will endure persecution from the world before the Lord’s Second Coming? If so, what might that look like?
