UNDERSTANDING - the assembling of individual facts into an organized whole - like puzzle pieces that require comprehending the picture.

1) The problem with understanding - FILTERS. A filter is used to remove the undesirable from the desirable. Most filters are formed from opinions offered to determine the difference between desirable and undesirable - not by discerning the picture! There are things we go through that may seem undesirable - but going through is the issue!

Those who have shut their eyes and ears, closing their hearts to truth, will not realize what they are seeing and hearing - leaving their heart without understanding. They are not able to put together the puzzle pieces of life to comprehend the picture God is showing.

2) The problem with understanding - worry. Anxiousness is today’s world is easy when we allow nothing (something that hasn’t happened yet) to control our concept of the future.

3) The problem with understanding - what we MEDITATE on. The idea of meditation is often mis-focused in perilous times where worldly truth is screaming loudly.
