The story of the Corps of Discovery has become a driving metaphor for many in our present moment in history. In many fields, businesses, communities, homes, careers; leaders are rapidly coming to the awareness that the world in front of us is radically different from the one behind us. Perhaps nowhere is this more true than in the church.
In Christ. He is our map. He is our strong place that we can run to and feel safe. He is the wisdom and knowledge that we need to navigate the complexities of a changing world.

When you find ourselves traveling off the map for the sake of the gospel, being led into uncharted territory, we too have a core identity as a child of the King, and a mission, to live out his love everyday. Resist the anxiety that would lead to throwing in the towel or relying on a quick fid, instead look more deeply - recommit to core values - and continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
