Who Can Serve God?

Who Can Serve God?

As Joshua and the Israelites are preparing to march on Jericho, they send some spies to the city to do some reconnaissance work. A foreigner named Rahab helps them and is blessed for doing so. This reminds us that God’s promises and God’s work are not just for certain people, but for all people.

... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God ... Romans 3:23 That means is NOT only do we NOT impress God, but we aren’t nearly as wonderful as we think we are. In fact, the way Jesus puts it is like this ...
God doesn’t use us to accomplish His plans because we are so impressive. He uses us because He is committed to never abandoning us alone ... no matter what!

1. God is NOT impressed with us!

2. God sees us through unconditional love!
