Canyon Ridge Christian Church

The early church was a community marked by devotion to these four things:
● the apostles teaching
● fellowship with one another and God
● sharing in meals together (including communion)
● prayer

A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.

Who does it say experienced the awe?
All people.

80% of practicing Christians have a positive view on the church. While only 21% of non-Christians think of church in a positive way.

“When is the last time someone experienced awe at what God was doing in your life?”

“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage." - Jesus

Then he walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” he said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother. Great fear swept the crowd, and they praised God….

Awake, O sleeper,
Rise up from the dead
And Christ will give you light.

Invite God to speak into you life with these questions:

● Is my life easily explainable?
● What needs to change in me so I can be more alive in you?
● Am I drowsy? Have I fallen asleep?
● How can my awakening transform the world around me?
● Who can support me in this?
