Pray for Alliance International Workers: WEST AFRICA
Thousands of displaced people in a country where Alliance international workers (IWs) serve have fled their villages due to attacks. Larger towns are not prepared for the influx of people, and supplies are lacking, especially clean water. Intercede for all affected as well as Christians and those who are responding to the crisis. Continue to pray for the security situation. Pray that the main roads will be secured so IWs can travel to and from the capital without danger.
Praise the Lord for a good ending to the girls’ school program for this year. Graduates have received sewing certificates as well as learning many other practical skills. Pray that these young women will continue to choose to live for Christ as they reach adulthood.
Church construction projects are underway in different locations. Pray for these buildings to be completed before the heavy rains, which could damage partially finished structures. Specifically pray for church roofing projects to be finished and for the start of a new building project at a Bible school.
