The beatitudes give us a warning and uncover an opportunity to find the blessed life.
The Path to Blessings Changes How We See Today
Redefine the blessed life. The word ‘blessed’ comes from the Greek word that describes a joy that is self-contained. It is independent of all circumstances that are surrounding it. Our English word ‘happiness’ doesn’t do it justice. Happiness comes from the root word ‘hap’ which means chance. Human happiness comes from chance and changes in life. But this word ‘blessed’ is untouchable and unstoppable.

The Path to Blessings Changes Our Prayers
Is your prayer life working against God’s activity or JOINING God’s activity? Think about it. We come before God, ‘God bless me and take me out of my persecution,’ ‘God bless me and take me away from poverty,’ ‘God bless me and take me away from my suffering.’ OR do we pray, ‘God bless me and work in me when I am broke, beat down, troubled, tried, and even persecuted.’
