Middle+ Parent Meeting - TODAY

Week Five: Hell Works
What is Heaven? One writer says that Heaven is, “The full manifestation of what it means to bow the knee to God in full submission to Him for eternity.” Heaven is true and real life with God, it is not about us. People today tend to define a “heaven” that is focused on ourselves and not a true Heaven that is focused upon Christ. But if Heaven wasn’t focused upon Christ, it would be Hell.

We are not saved by our works, but our life and works will truly show what we believe about God, eternity, and how we want to spend it. In Matthew 25:41 Jesus tells us that Hell was not prepared for us, we were made for the Kingdom of God, but many of us live our lives like we would rather be in Hell than live eternity with God Himself. We should thank God that against all odds, including us, Jesus saves.
